Overview

Avelumab - VR is a gamified educational VR experience showcasing the effects of Avelumab antibodies on different types of cancer.

I worked on Avelumab - VR as a freelance Game & Narrative designer for Ebers & Merck Egypt during the entire development of the game.

My duties included: 

  • Writing documentation including a one-page, Concept document, GDD & project roadmap

  • Define the game mechanics needed and assign the suitable control scheme within the boundaries of a VR controller 

  • Define and design the layout of the game space and how players will interact.

  • Conceptualizing and designing the game flow from phase to phase, and sequence of events from a narrative point of view

  • Writing the script and player assistant monologue for voice over

  • Aid artists to sketch storyboards for key events

  • List and assign sounds needed 

  • Balancing and tuning the game experience to fit a certain time frame (Approx. 5 mins experience)
